Bruce the Friend.

I have a Bruce friend that I saw this weekend. You may remember him. We met when we were babies. I called him Bruce the Brute back then.

Me and Bruce when we were babies.

My Bruce Friend and his mom.

My Bruce Friend and his mom.

But Bruce is definitely not a Brute anymore. Now he is all grown up like me. He also has a little bother just like I do. He is a sweet friend and I really like him.

His family is traveling across the country and they all stayed with us for a couple of nights. We had a lot of fun eating and playing and climbing.

We were too excited to eat our dinner.

We ate dinner..

We shared a nice sunny breakfast.

We ate breakfast..

We are both excellent climbers.

We climbed rocks.

We play superhero and princess.

We climbed fences.

We flew kites.

Both of our families.

We had a good time with our families.

I hope I see you again soon, Bruce Friend. You and your whole family. I loved having you stay with us!

New Beginning.

Today I started Preschool.

I get to go to this big brick school that mom says is really old. Except now it has been turned into a school just for kids my size.

image

I get to wear this backpack that arrived in the mail for me last week. It has pink ponies on it. Pink. Ponies. Seriously. Ponies. That are pink.

image

The day was pretty fun. I didn’t really tell mom much about it and I don’t really know that I have much to say about it on my blog. Except that there is circle time and line leaders and ‘Mon ami’ means ‘friend’ in French.

Oh, and little bother seriously missed me while I was gone. He gave me the biggest hug when he picked me up.

image

I like to make him cry by telling him he doesn’t get to go to preschool until I go to the magical land of Kindergarten. He hates when I tell him that. But I secretly like that he misses me.

So far, this school thing is off to an auspicious start. Which is a word I learned in preschool today. Just kidding. My editor put that in to make me sound smarter. Cause now I’m a big preschooler.

Third.

I turned three years old today!

This morning mom and dad woke me up singing me the happy birthday song and gave me my presents! (A ballerina puzzle and ballerina book, in case you were wondering). Grammy and grandpa sang to me on the phone and watched me be surprised by the dollhouse they got me.

Then I played dollhouse and tea party all day. Little bother was allowed to play with me because I was feeling nice.

It was a good third birthday.

Even if mom made us go to the doctor for our checkups. I don’t want to talk about that. Except to say that little bother had to get shots and I didn’t.

So, happy birthday to me!!

A royal tea party.

Mom threw me a tea party to celebrate my birthday.

We wore crowns and sipped tea. In real cups.

Well. For a few minutes. Then we snarfed down cookies, put the veggies in our tea cups and ran circles around the room screaming. It was all a total blast. Mom stopped taking photos at this point, but just imagine how fun all the chaos was.

Then everyone sang me happy birthday and helped to blow out my candles. (Special thanks to Aunt E for making my super cake)

All my friends left with tea cups in their bags and pez candies in their mouths.

Thanks, mom, for the party.

Halloween.

Halloween started badly.

Mom made me wear this hat and dad made me take a picture with little bother.

147

But then we went to the Munchkin Masquerade on the walking mall.

171

There were people handing out candy. This made my day improve immensely.

177

Happy Halloween!

I hope your mom and dad let you eat all the candy you want.

Unlike mine.

Farm festivities.

Its that time of year again, when mom takes me to the farm. It was pretty much the same as last year.

Except, I picked a white “Cinderella” pumpkin.

1263

And they had a new giant Cinderella carriage!

Oh, and little bother was with us.

image

So, besides those few little details it was exactly the same as last year.

I love fall on the farm.

Summer is.

Experiencing summer for the third time makes me basically an expert on this fine season,

Summer is sunshine on your face.

image

Summer is a full backyard.

image

Summer is cherry shaved ice.

image

Summer is mud puddles after the rain.

image

Summer is wildflowers.

image

Summer is drinking juice pool side.

image

But mostly summer is playing so hard you can’t even finish your steamer on the way home,

I love summer.

Explosives.

Uncer Andy came up for dinner this weekend. He brought these things he called explosives, even though Mom called them small harmless fireworks. Either way, these little white paper things pop very loudly when you throw them on the ground or stomp on them.

Uncer Andy is the best.
